A Slice of Summer Acrylic Mini Canvases 1 Day Workshop

Step into sunshine and creativity with Slice of Summer, a vibrant and inspiring acrylic mini painting workshop designed for both beginners and seasoned artists alike! Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or looking to refresh your skills, this four-hour guided session is the perfect escape into the joys of summer.
In this hands-on workshop, each participant will create a series of cheerful, mini canvas paintings inspired by the warmth and color of the season—think juicy watermelons, sun-drenched beach scenes, blooming florals, popsicles, flip-flops, and golden sunsets. With step-by-step guidance and plenty of room for personal expression, you’ll bring these bite-sized bursts of summer to life using vivid acrylic paints.
All materials are included—just bring your imagination and a love of color! We’ll provide everything you need: mini canvases, brushes, paint, palettes, and aprons. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with several completed mini masterpieces, perfect for brightening your space, gifting to a friend, or starting a new creative habit.
No pressure, no experience needed—just a relaxed, creative environment where the only requirement is to have fun and soak in the summer vibes. Come solo or bring a friend and make it a colorful afternoon to remember!
Digital Painting on an iPad with Procreate

Learn how to use the app Procreate to create beautiful digital illustrations that can then be turned into prints, stickers, and more.
Procreate is an incredibly robust digital paint program that will amaze you with it’s capabilities. You’ll learn how to use all of the features that make this such a popular app for illustrators and artists. Procreate is only offered on an Apple platform, so other tablets will not work for this class.
Please Note: You must have an iPad and an Apple Pencil and bring them to class. You will need to purchase the Procreate app for a cost to you of $12.99. The instructor can help you with this should you require assistance.

Portraits in Charcoal
Building on the skills learned in the previous courses you will learn how the same concepts are applied to the human head. We will break down how to block in your basic shapes and then how to refine them in order to draw realistic and beautiful portraits in charcoal.
